Why You Should Be Doing What You’re Passionate About

Doing what you love is such an important thing to be doing, I mean take a look at Bill Gates, this guy goes to work everyday with the soul purpose of bettering others and continuing to innovate and change our world as we know it. Microsoft is a fortune 500 company that had a net worth of 93.58 billion in 2015. This is one of the most successful companies in the world and im going to discuss Bill Gates and his rules for success.

With a successful company like Microsoft, Bill Gates top 5 rules for success in no specific order are to have ENERGY. If you’re going to start up a company it is going to take tons of energy – especially for someone who is young. It all comes down to taking risk, and to be willing to fail. If you are willing to fail, then there is a good chance of you being highly successful. Energy is so important for life to thrive and is something that you need to output and to take in on a daily basis.

Taking a look at number two, and it might come off as negative, but according to Bill Gates it is highly important, and that is to Have a Bad Influence. Now when he is talking about having a bad influence he isn’t talking about drugs, but he is talking about him dropping out of college. Bill Gates is known to be Harvard’s most successful dropout for the simple fact that he influenced Steve Ballmer who is an American businessman who was the chief executive officer of Microsoft from January 2000 to February 2014, and is the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers. Nothing says that you have to go to college to be successful in life, but that doesn’t mean you will get extraordinary wealth like Steve Ballmer and Bill Gates.Screen Shot 2016-04-05 at 9.15.19 AM

You’re parents growing up always told you “work hard in life and success will follow” and this saying is so cliché but it is 100% true. What we are going to discuss next is Working Hard. Bill Gates calendar is always full with different tasks, and activities that he has to get done throughout his day. Then at night after his kids have gone to bed, he is on his email responding to clients and other important emails; even on his weekends he is responding to emails. Bill Gates goes on to say that he takes two weeks a year to go off and do some solid reading, and self improvement tasks that he can’t fulfill with his busy schedule. He calls this his “Think Week”. The majority of the time – about 25% – is Bill Gates going out and traveling to different places to see what his company needs to improve upon, and think of new strategies for the future.

Creating the Future is something Bill Gates and Paul Allen have done, when it was founded back in April 4, 1975 they had no idea that this company would be one of the wealthiest and most profitable companies in the world. Word, Excel & Powerpoint have changed the way consumers are able to produce documents, spreadsheets and presentations. Bill Gates goes on to say that him and his team predicted this well before they started up Microsoft and now its the one of the most well known companies. If you want to be as successful as Microsoft then CREATE THE FUTURE!

We all have a job, but if you don’t enjoy your work then you will never be happy. Hard work creates luck. The harder you work, the luckier you become. If you aren’t producing and showing up everyday and putting in the hours then there is no way you will be successful or happy. Bill Gates strives on Enjoying What You Do. You’ve got to enjoy what you do everyday and for him thats working with very smart people, working on new problems and every time him and his team think they have gotten a little bit of success they are pretty careful not to dwell on it too much because thats the day that you will stop trying hard to accomplish more!

505LB Rack-Pull PR (Back To Back)

505LB Rack-Pull PR

—> Watch Video <—

Hit 505LB Rack-Pull for a new personal record so I thought I would use the Drake “Back to Back” beat and put together a sick motivational video! Currently at 175lbs so im pulling over 3 times my body weight. The rack-pull is a great exercise for all around muscle development especially in the lower back, but it is a forearm, glute, hamstrings & trap exercise also. In my opinion the rack-pull is one of the most important compound exercises for all around muscle growth , as having a big rack-pull will translate into your other compound exercises like the deadlift, front squat, etc..

Benefits of Box Squats

Whats going on guys, this video is going to give you some information on the benefits of the box squat! The box squat is something all lifters should be adding to there arsenal. The benefits of the box squat are many. First is that squatting on a box forces you to pause at the bottom, which causes you to recruit more muscle fibers to get you out of the hole and back up to the top. More muscle fibers recruited = more strength and more growth. Second is that you can sit back farther in the lift than you could if a box wasn’t under you. This places more stress on the hamstrings and glute muscles, which are the key movers in this exercise. Hope you guys enjoy this video, going to be doing a lot more speaking videos like this along with my routine videos, and my regular lifting videos. Just something else to look forward to going forward with the channel!

In this episode of NattyLife we are taking a trip to the white mountains and Hike Mt. Washington, the highest peak in the Northeastern United States at 6,288 ft (1,917 m) and the most prominent mountain east of the Mississippi River. The weather of Mount Washington is notoriously erratic. This is partly due to the convergence of several storm tracks, mainly from the Atlantic to the south, the Gulf region and Pacific Northwest. The vertical rise of the Presidential Range, combined with its north-south orientation, makes it a significant barrier to westerly winds. Low-pressure systems are more favorable to develop along the coastline in the winter months due to the relative temperature differences between the Northeast and the Atlantic Ocean. With these factors combined, hurricane-force wind gusts are observed from the summit of the mountain on average of 110 days per year. So come a long for the journey up the mountain as I carry 10-15lbs of camera gear so I can get all these amazing video clips and great pictures that I have posted up on my Flickr account ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/davidlotito ). My lower back and legs have been sore for 3 days so far, mainley due to me bringing two backpacks (one for all my food and extra clothes & one for my camera gear)

NattyLife: Casino Lyfe ||Season 1||Episode 4||

In this episode of NattyLife we are taking a trip to the new Massachusetts casino to see what all the hype is about. The casino is nice and all but it definitely needs some roulette tables and a hotel for guests to stay at, regardless it was fun. I end up coming back from the casino and rip up legs with all my favorite compound exercises. Hope you enjoy the video! As always, more good stuff coming soon!
